1. The Pursuit of Happyness(2006)

Chris Gardner is a driven salesman trying to make ends meet for his son Christopher Jr. Homeless with a slim chance of selling the remaining bone density scanners he invested his entire life savings on, he didn’t let his guard down and entered a top brokerage firm in San Francisco as an intern, hoping he’d land a paid position eventually.

2. Freedom Writers (2007)

4. Catch Me If You Can (2002)

7. The Blind Side (2009)

This moving film follows the story of Michael Oher, an impoverished young man living in the streets, who earns a spot in the National Footbal League (NFL) with the help of his caring and compassionate adoptive family.
